The Angel Wings Program

Backstory

Our sister, Lara, passed away in March of 2014. She was two months shy of graduating from law school. Throughout her life, Lara donated her time and effort to organizations like Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, and Second Harvest Food Bank. During law school, she spent many hours lending a hand to the underserved in her community by way of pro bono legal assistance.

Lara was also a huge fan of beer. Her favorite style was a West Coast IPA, probably due to her years as an undergrad at the University of Washington. This is why Chris began brewing Angel IPA. The beer is a clear, piney, PNW classic. And that’s just how Lara liked it.

With this Program, we are merging two of our sister’s favorite things: serving the community and drinking beer.

The Program

All you have to do is drink. Every pint + can of Angel IPA sold in the tasting room adds to a quarterly donation given to a local non-profit organization. Since opening in September of 2019, we have been able to provide nearly $5,000 thanks to your thirst. Local organizations like Path of Hope + Big Table + Second Harvest Food Bank + Spokane Public Schools Foundation have all been beneficiaries of our community’s generosity and drinking prowess.

Know a Non-Profit?

If you know of a non-profit that would benefit from the mission of Angel Wings, please reach out! We love rotating each quarter to new organizations that share a passion for helping the community.
